         For the convenience of our visitors, this Site may contain links to a number of sites that we believe may offer useful information, products and/or services. The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to those sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their privacy, security, data collection, and distribution policies.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least the age of 18 years or be supervised by a guardian to use this Site.

3. What Information is Collected.

(a) Information You Provide to Us: We collect any information you enter on our Site or that you give us in any other way. For example, any time you create an account, whether a Host or Guest profile, we collect and save the information you provide in creating such a profile. This information may include your age, location (county / region / country), photos, contact information and other individual information useful in setting up prospective guests with hosts for Shabbos. However, we do not use or share this information with individuals who are not members of SeeYouOnShabbos without your express request that we do so. We may use and share information we collect from our users without prior consent when we collect and compile information in the aggregate, in a way that would not enable others to identify personal information about individual users.  

(b) Your Usage of Our Site. SeeYouOnShabbos automatically tracks certain information about you based upon your use of our site. This information is used to conduct internal research on our users’ demographics and behavior to better understand and serve our users.

(c) Cookies. In addition, we may use “cookies” on certain pages of our site on a limited basis. Cookies are small files that can be used to track a user’s steps, automatically generate a user’s password, or for authentication purposes. Cookies are stored on your hard drive, not on our site. Most cookies are automatically deleted at the end of a session.

4. How and When the Information is Used. Information you submit to SeeYouOnShabbos will fall into two categories. The first is contact information, which we will protect and not disclose to other users unless a connection is made between a particular Guest and Host, this information includes your phone number and email address. The second, is information you submit for inclusion in your profile which may be visible to other users. Please note that your profile, and all information contained in it, may be viewed by others, and as such, please use discretion and consideration before uploading such profile information.

As a general matter, the information we collect from you is used to provide you with customized services and to enable the matching of prospective Guests and Hosts for Shabbos. Your information is also used for administering our business activities. We may use the information to notify you, either directly or through our agent(s) about changes to our website, new services, or special offers. You authorize SeeYouOnShabbos to send you newsletters relating to our services.

5. Legal Requests. We cooperate with law enforcement authorities, as well as with other third parties, to enforce laws, and to prevent injury. In response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can, and you authorize us to, disclose your email address, login name history, and all information you supply to SeeYouOnShabbos, with or without a subpoena when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to protect our rights or to prevent imminent physical harm, or to report suspected past, present, or future illegal activity.

6. How We Protect Your Information. The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. We therefore use practices that are consistent with standards in the industry to protect your privacy. Subject to the other sections of this Privacy Policy, we do not make any personal information available to third parties (namely, individuals who are not SeeYouOnShabbos members) without your permission. Please note, however, that no transmission over the Internet can be fully guaranteed in its confidentiality and non-disclosure, and as such you transmit at your own risk. 

Your access to some services and content are password protected. We advise that you do not disclose your password to anyone. In addition, we recommend you sign out of password-protected services at the end of your session. We offer you the ability to recover your password at http://www.shabbat.com/forgotten_password.aspx and to change your password at http://www.shabbat.com/ProfileAccountSettings.aspx. Once logged in as a registered user, you can change your Password. Please contact us at Admin@SeeYouOnShabbos.com if you are unable to change your password.

7. Consent. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and as described on the SeeYouOnShabbos website.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy. If our Privacy Policy or procedures change, we will immediately post those changes to our website.

9. Effective Date. This Privacy Policy is effective as of November 1, 2009.
